About Chi Lin/Kylin/Qilin
Qilin represents auspiciousness with functions of protecting houses, warding off an evil influence and bringing improvement in wealth. Therefore, it is an indispensable component of home furnishing in Feng Shui. In Feng Shui, Qilin is also helpful in multiplying the offspring as the legend of “Qilin Being a Baby Deliverer” has prevailed since ancient times. A pair of Qilin should be placed on the head of a bed with one at each side and the heads of Qilin toward the bed center.
